VA commission role
Proposal for VA commission role
Reason for the role :
Giving the opportunity for an established VA to make commission by cross-selling Silver Websites services to their existing client base and to their network of contacts. This can include up to 3 hours paid time each month to cover set tasks.
To prevent over-selling, they would also have an agreed geographic area they can target for selling purposes (e.g. in local Facebook groups, contacts from magazines etc.)
Details :
The VA would be supplied with a Silver Websites email address (e.g. sam@silverwebsites.co.uk) which they will use for communication purposes. Initially the VA would email their own contracts from their own business address outlining this collaboration and directing replies to the personalised Silver Websites email address.
3 hours a month (payable at £20/hour) would be paid by Silver Websites to the VA for the purposes of sending and responding to emails from this email box. Additional hours by agreement if initial enquiries generate other leads. Any unused hours in the month to be spent targeting clients to the service.
For each successful introduction of a new client to Silver Websites (i.e. a lead which converts into a paid website project) the VA would then be paid 10% commission (see below).
A spreadsheet will be used to track progress of leads.
In terms of cross-selling, it’s anticipated that the VA would use the following methods :
– contacting their existing client base
– engaging in local Social Media groups
– checking local magazine ads
– utilising their own contact circles.
Commission payable at 10% of project income. Includes 10% of first year’s hosting, 10% of build and that first month’s website retainer as applicable.
Commission Example :
5 page website with hosting and 3 hours a month retainer :
– £360 hosting annual fee
– £1,200 build
– £150 pcm retainer
– Possible commission £36 + £120 + £150 = £306 for this introduction.
Monthly rolling contract. Commission paid on above basis for all leads into specific email address.
Contractor Agreement to be signed which will include non-disclosure agreement and agreement that VA won’t supply overlapping services to any competing businesses, i.e. website or marketing/software agencies.
Need to follow our online/security policies.
