Plumb Bath Tile: From a New Business to More Work Than They Could Handle
Plumb Bath Tile is a highly rated domestic plumbing company based in Swindon. When we first started working together in 2020, the business had very little local online presence, having recently moved to the area.
We created a professional, easy-to-use website to showcase their plumbing and bathroom services. Alongside managing the website, we provided ongoing support each month, focusing on improving their visibility in local online searches and helping potential customers find them.
Over the following four years, the business went from having very little local visibility to receiving more enquiries than it could comfortably handle.
As the owner put it:
“It’s got too big, it’s ridiculous how many jobs I turn away.”
By 2024, the business had built up such a strong customer base that the owner decided he no longer needed a website. With regular recommendations, van signage and advertising in a small local publication generating enough work, he chose to scale things back rather than continue growing.
Although we no longer manage a website for Plumb Bath Tile, it’s a project we’re particularly proud of. It’s a great example of how a well-designed website, combined with consistent local SEO work, can help a small business establish itself in a new area and build a lasting customer base.
Sometimes the best measure of success isn’t how big a business becomes, but helping it reach a point where the owner has as much work as they actually want.
